Meal Delivery
Meals are delivered by volunteers typically between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm, Monday through Friday. A delivery consists of a hot meal, in a covered, sectioned tray, and a "bag lunch", which includes chilled parts of the meal, such as milk or fruit, and may include a sandwich and dessert, which may be eaten later in the day, depending upon the meal plan. Supper and weekend meals are available for those who require them. The program has the ability to fulfill the needs of recipients with special dietary considerations. The FM-JD Area Meals on Wheels provides non-perishable food items in anticipation of inclement weather.
